To reach the climate goals, the City of Helsingborg needs to recycle more. How we consume and use resources affects the earth's climate. Reusing instead of throwing away and buying new is one way to reduce our climate impact.

All of the cities in the world face similar complex challenges and we need to transform our entire society in a short period of time. With a large proportion of the world's population living in urban areas, increased traffic, overcrowding and climate change are just some of the challenges facing cities.

För att nå klimatmålen så behöver Helsingborgs stad återbruka mer. Hur vi konsumerar och använder resurser påverkar klimatet på jorden. Att återbruka istället för att slänga och köpa nytt är ett sätt att minska vår klimatpåverkan.

Alla världens städer står inför liknande komplexa utmaningar och vi behöver på kort tid ställa om hela samhället. En stor del av världens befolkning bor i tätorter vilket gör att ökad trafik, trångboddhet och klimatproblem bara är några av de utmaningar som städer står inför.

The city of Helsingborg is ready for the next step in its development journey. Now it is time to take the lessons learned from H22 and the innovation initiative further.

The welfare challenges that the city faces need to be seen with fresh eyes to find new and improved solutions. Therefore, a new department has been established in the city as an innovation centre.

Nu är det dags att ta innovationssatsningen och lärdomarna från H22 vidare. Helsingborgs stad är redo för nästa steg i sin utvecklingsresa.
De välfärdsutmaningar som staden står inför behöver ses på med nya ögon för att hitta nya lösningar. Därför har man under våren etablerat en ny avdelning i staden, ett center för innovation.

The city has approximately 60 miles of roads that require regular maintenance. Usually, it takes about 45-48 weeks to inventory the street network. Thanks to development engineer Andreas Hall and his smart solution in collaboration with Univrses and NSR, the city can now inventory faster and more efficiently. It is now easier to find potholes, uncovered drains, and whether a road needs repair.

Helsingborgs stad har cirka 60 mil gator som regelbundet behöver underhållas. Normalt tar det cirka 45–48 veckor att inventera gatunätet. Tack vare utvecklingsingenjör Andreas Hall och hans smarta lösning tillsammans med Univrses och NSR kan staden inventera både snabbare och effektivare. Nu är det enklare att få reda på till exempel hål i gatan, övertäckta brunnar och om en väg behöver lagas.

Helleringen is a tool designed to track toilet visits for individuals suffering from cognitive impairment, ensuring appropriate care interventions are carried out.

När minnet sviker kan vardagliga rutiner som att sköta magen gå i glömska. Hur ska då sjuksköterskor ha koll på att vårdtagaren dagligen sköter sina behov? Helleringen är ett redskap som ska registrera toalettbesök för personer som lider av kognitiv svikt för att säkerställa att rätt vårdinsatser genomförs.

Hundreds of international participants are expected for a four-day programme featuring conferences, workshops, and site visits when the Biochar Summit takes place at Clarion Hotel & Congress Sea U in Helsingborg in June. The event brings together municipalities, businesses, academia, and industry for insightful discussions and collaborations on the potential of biochar.

Hundratals internationella deltagare förväntas till ett fyra dagar långt program med både konferens, workshops och studiebesök när evenemanget The Biochar Summit går av stapeln på Clarion Hotel & Congress Sea U i Helsingborg i juni. Evenemanget samlar för första gången kommuner, företag, akademi och industri för fruktbara samtal och samarbeten kring potentialen med biokol.
